On Jan. 1 at 10 a.m. meet at Clifty Shelter for a 1 ½ hour moderately rugged hike along Trails 6 and 7. These trails meander along the east side of Clifty Creek and provide scenic views of Big Clifty Falls, Little Clifty Falls, Cake Rock, Lookout Point, and Clifty Canyon. Refreshments will be provided after the hike. Please dress appropriately for the weather. If there is snow or ice, you will want to bring trekking poles and wear crampons on your shoes.
