Prehistoric Spirituality

Prehistoric spirituality passes through the Abrahamic bloodline in the form of animistic motifs, ancestor worship, possession by spirits and belief in an afterlife. Bright Orthodoxy finds this ancestral wisdom where its respective traditions converge. When we light our candles, we invoke the early Christian church and before, to Abraham and the Akkadian polytheism into which he was born, and the Canaanite paganism through which he traveled.
